Welcome to the 80's

As a teen of the 80's, I remember all the now vintage clothing, hairstyles, etc of the 1980's. In this blog I want to share these things with all who may not be aware of the icons of the 80's, as well as take a trip down memory lane with those who did live through it. For some, it will be hilarious, and for others embarrassing to think of what they/we once thought was cool.

  1. Hi Tina,

Having graduated high school at the end of the 80's I'm looking forward to see what you remember and find interesting. :)

I am maybe a little embarrassed to say, but I really liked the music of Duran Duran in the 1980s. I worked at the local Putt-Putt Golf Course and hung out at the roller skating rink. I still lived at home and had no bills. I remember having the ability to spend money on anything that I liked, mostly pizza and video games.
I like the design and colors you chose for your blog page.

  4. Halie, I have to confess.. I purchased Purple Rain on the $9 movie rack about three years ago - it is sad it has been put on the cheap old movie display. Remember The Time in that movie. It was funny! My husband has asked me numerous times, "why'd you buy that movie?" Because I loved Prince.
